Go Golan on Global Voices
I am not so sure if people are aware, but my previous post, What's not normal about the Golan?, made it to the headlines of Global Voices - an international, volunteer-led non-profit project founded at Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society.
Amira Al Hussaini wrote a small piece called Israel: What’s Wrong With Golan?
Click on the link above and you can see what she said plus my comment back to her (and other comments, too).

The Golan is Syrian, and we will be re-unite with Syria. Choke on it.
Well Anonymous - if that is your real name - thanks for your comment. First of all, I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner. See, I saw the comment on Friday afternoon whilst I was getting myself ready for the 4th commandment: Honor thy Sabbath.
In regards to your claim of the 8th commandment – though shall not steal – I would genuinely like to thank you for giving credence to my Bible. While I would never put any religions’ holy book down, I do, as a Jew, have a hard time accepting other religions’ holy books as the law. And I think that's fair and would never ask someone from another religion to accept my beliefs and/or Bible as the law.
But since you are so “open minded” I would really like to thank you. But, I think you are wrong in regards to who is stealing from who; remember Genesis 15:18-21 and Numbers 21:33-35 and chapter 32 where it talks about the land of the Golan.
